Categories and Subcategories for Motion Analysis Results

You can select from different categories of results in the Results PropertyManger. Each category has a different set of subcategory options.

To open the Results PropertyManager:

  1. Open a Motion Analysis type motion study: From a motion study for an assembly, select Motion Analysis for Type of Study.
  2. Click Results and Plots (MotionManager toolbar).
Categories Subcategories
Displacement/Velocity/Acceleration
Forces
Momentum/Energy/Power
Other quantities
For vector results such as forces, selecting Magnitude for the result component yields only positive values. For scalar results such as angular displacement, selecting Magnitude for the result component can yield both positive and negative values.
