Performance Evaluation - Open Summary

If you have selected the option to dismiss dialog boxes automatically when opening assemblies, and you open an assembly or assembly drawing, an Open Summary report collects dismissed warning and error messages.

Viewing the Open Summary report can help you diagnose problems in an assembly or assembly drawing. The report only applies to assemblies or assembly drawings that you open from disk.

The Open Summary report contains:
  • Warning and error messages that you dismissed by clicking Don't show again, that timed out, or that were only informational.
  • Components that could not be opened, along with the path and the reason they could not load.

To select the option:

  • Click Tools > Options > System Options > Messages/Errors/Warnings , and select Dismiss reference/update dialog boxes when opening assemblies after: n seconds.

To view the Open Summary report:

In the Performance Evaluation dialog box, under Open Summary, click Show These Parts .
In the dialog box, you can print the list, copy it to the clipboard, or save it to a file.
