Installation Changes for SOLIDWORKS PDM

You can install SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard or SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional using:
  • SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager (SLDIM)
  • SOLIDWORKS PDM InstallShield Wizard

Recommendation: Use SLDIM to install SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard or SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional.

You must install the SolidNetWork License Manager separately.

The installations of the SOLIDWORKS PDM clients and the SOLIDWORKS PDM servers are separate.

You can select a product type based on the license available. The following add-ins specific to the product type are available.
