You can use CircuitWorks Lite to automatically create a SOLIDWORKS component from an EDA (eCAD) file describing a printed circuit board (PCB). You can then insert that component into the SOLIDWORKS software.
The PCB can be a manufactured PCB or one that you design. You can use it for a specific project, or import it into a PCB catalog for use in multiple projects. You can also route wires and cables to the component representing the PCB, but first you have to define the connection points on the component.
CircuitWorks Lite supports the import of IDF files only.
