You can export a data card to re-use it in another vault or create a backup copy. All controls, variables, images, and central lists are included in the export file.
- In the Card Editor, open the data card.
- Click .
- In the Save As dialog box, select the location to save the card and type a name.
The default extension is .crd.
- Click Save.
You can also export data cards to a .cex export file via the Administration tool.
