The 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Pane

The 3DEXPERIENCE Platform pane shows the active model content. Use the pane to manage the model status in SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight.

The pane displays:
  • Your user name
  • The model's file name
  • The part, or the assembly and its parts
The default view is the structured list view. You can change to a grid by clicking , and back to a structured list by clicking . You can also view components by their file type by clicking:
Top level assembly
Assembly
Parts
Drawing
More infomation about a component displays when you hover over a component in the list:
  • File name
  • Time that the component was last modified
  • Current status
You can filter files using the Filter current list field. You can also sort files by clicking:
Newest Modified
Oldest Modified
Ascending
Descending

To refresh the file list, click Refresh at the top of the pane.
