Using Platforms

Platforms are the servers that act as repositories of communities.
Your 3DEXPERIENCE administrator gives you access to platforms. You can modify your list of platforms by adding or deleting platforms.

Selecting a Platform

To select a platform:

  1. Click Manage Settings .
  2. Click Switch Platforms.
  3. In the dialog box, select a platform and click Switch.

Adding Platforms

To add platforms to your list of platforms:

  1. In 3DSwym Communities, click Manage Settings , and click Switch Platforms.
  2. In the dialog box, click Add .
  3. In Add Platform, under Server URL, type the platform URL.
    If necessary, see your administrator for the URL.
  4. Click Add.

Deleting Platforms

To delete platforms from your list of platforms:

  1. In 3DSwym Communities, click Manage Settings , and click Switch Platforms.
  2. In the dialog box, select the platform to remove.
  3. Click Remove .
  4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
