Variations

Resolved A yellow icon indicates that the component is fully loaded into memory and all of its features and mates are editable.
Lightweight A blue feather overlay appears on the icon of a lightweight part
Out-of-Date Lightweight A red feather overlay appears on the icon of an out-of-date lightweight part.
Suppressed A gray icon indicates that the component is not in use in the active configuration.
Hidden A white icon indicates that the component is active, but hidden.
Hidden Lightweight A white icon with a blue feather indicates that the component is lightweight and hidden.
Hidden, Out-of-Date, and Lightweight A white icon with a red feather indicates that the component is hidden, out-of-date, and lightweight.
Smart Component A lightening bolt overlay appears on the icon of Smart Components.
Hidden Smart Component A transparent lightning bolt icon on a white icon indicates that the component is a Smart Component and hidden.
Large Design Review An eye overlay appears on the icons of all components when the assembly is opened in Large Design Review mode.
Hidden Large Design Review A white icon with an eye indicates that the assembly is in Large Design Review mode and the component is hidden.
Unresolved When you open an assembly, an eye overlay indicates that the components are being resolved. The overlay disappears when the components are fully resolved.

Single component

The component is an envelope.
Envelope

Subassembly

The subassembly is an envelope.
Hidden Envelope The component is an envelope and is hidden.
Suppressed Envelope The component is an envelope and is suppressed.
Grouped components You can automatically group the same components with the same configuration into a folder-like structure. Right-click the top-level assembly and click Tree Display > Group Component Instances.
Grouped subassemblies Subassemblies that are grouped together.
Parts are followed by the lock icon if they have been frozen by the freeze bar.
