Key Features of eDrawings

eDrawings features include:

  • Viewing native documents in the eDrawings Viewer, such as SOLIDWORKS (*.sldprt, *.sldasm, and *.slddrw) and AutoCAD (*.dxf and *.dwg file) documents
  • Creating eDrawings files from your CAD application
  • Support for Windows and Macintosh operating systems
  • Exporting Plastics Simulation results from SOLIDWORKS Plastics as eDrawings files
  • Viewing SOLIDWORKS Simulation and SOLIDWORKS SimulationXpress data

  • Using eDrawings as a standalone viewer or as an embedded ActiveX control
    If you use the eDrawings 64-bit version, you can use eDrawings ActiveX control. If you try to open .html files in eDrawings and the files do not open, use the eDrawings 64-bit version and install eDrawings 64-bit ActiveX.
