You can use the New Configuration
dialog box to specify configurations to be searched for variables when you create or modify a
column set for file list or bill of materials template.
To display this dialog box:
In the Customizable Columns or
Bill of Materials dialog box, select Look for variable
in given list of configurations. Under Configurations,
click 
.

Retrieves the variable value from the file data
card of a file that contains no configurations (that is, no configuration tabs appear
in the data card of file list on the Preview tab in Windows
Explorer). |
