IMateFeatureData is the base interface for the following advanced mate-specific interfaces:

To create an advanced mate:

  1. Use IAssemblyDoc::CreateMateData to access a MateFeatureData object.
  2. Set the general properties of the MateFeatureData object.
  3. Cast the MateFeatureData object to one of the advanced mate-specific objects. 
  4. Set the specific properties of the advanced mate-specific object.
  5. Call this method, passing in the advanced mate-specific object.
