Creates a feature data object of the specified type.

Parameters

Type

Feature name ID as defined in swFeatureNameID_e:

  • swFmHoleWzd (Hole Wizard hole)
  • swFmSweepThread (sweep thread)
  • swFmRefSurface (surface sweep)
  • swFmSweep (boss sweep)
  • swFmSweepCut (cut sweep)
  • swFmLibraryFeature (library feature)

Return Value

Hole Wizard holethreadsweep, or library feature data object; Nothing or null otherwise

Example

Remarks

For sweep features only, this method initializes the sweep feature data object with default data. For library, thread, and Wizard Hole holes, initialize methods exist to initialize feature data objects. See the See Also section.
