3D Viewing Using Continuous RollView
Use the RollViewContinuous command to rotate the view in 3D with continuous motion about a pivot point.
To view the model in 3D using continuous RollView:
- Do one of the following:
- Click View > 3D Orbit > Continuous Orbit on the menu.
- Click View > Render > Continuous Orbit on the ribbon.
- Type RollViewContinuous.
- In the graphics area, drag the pointer.
A green pivot point appears where you clicked and is the center for the rotation.
- Release the mouse button.
The orbit view keeps spins in the direction of the drag.
Note: The arcball feature is not available in this RollView mode.
- Press Esc or Enter to exit RollView mode.
