You customize your SOLIDWORKS PDM environment by using the Administration tool to add and modifying vault settings.
Some settings are already provided, such as default Bills of Materials, variables, file types, and a default workflow. Others you create through the use of wizards and dialog boxes.
Settings can be unique to a vault or used in multiple vaults by exporting a set of settings from one vault and importing the settings into other vaults.
