Back Up Archive Server Settings

You can back up and restore archive server settings.

Consider the following when backing up settings:

Archive server settings include all user, file vault and archive settings that are entered using the Archive Server Configuration tool. This feature creates a backup of the archive server settings. It does not back up file vault archives or databases.
Backed up settings are saved as a backup.dat file.
You should back up regularly and before major procedures such as installing an upgrade.
You can back up settings manually or by scheduling an update.
