Document Properties - Punch Tables

You can specify document-level drafting settings for punch tables. Available for drawings only.

To open this page:

With a drawing open, click Options (Standard toolbar), select the Document Properties tab, and then select Tables > Punch.

Overall drafting standard


Overall drafting standard Inherited from the selected Drafting Standard page settings.

Border

Box Border Sets a line thickness for the outside border of the table.
Grid Border Sets a line thickness for the inner grid lines of the table.

Text


Font

Modifies the font.


Location precision


Unit Precision Select the number of digits after the decimal point for the punch feature location value.

Alpha/Numerical Control

Select letters or numbers for punch table tag sequencing.

A, B, C Defines the punch feature tag sequence as a letter. Punch-Table-Letters.gif

Layer


Layer
Select a layer.
You must first create layers for the drawing before you can select them for document properties.

You must select Per Standard for Layer (Layer toolbar) in the drawing view document to apply these layer settings.

Origin indicator

Origin indicator Governs the origin display. Select a standard or select Per Standard to use the overall drafting standard.

Tag angle/offset from profile center

Dual dimensions

Dual dimensions display Select to display dimensions in dual units.
Show units for dual display Select to display units for the second set of dimensions.

Options

Leading zeroes
Standard Leading zeroes appear according to the overall drafting standard.
Show Zeroes before decimal points are shown.
Remove Leading zeroes do not appear.
Trailing zeroes
Remove only on zero Trailing zeroes are trimmed for whole metric values, conforming to ANSI and ISO standards.
Show Trailing zeroes are displayed according to the decimal places you specify for Units.
Remove Trailing zeroes do not appear.
Same as source Trailing zeroes appear according to the ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
Combine same tags Combines items with the same Punch IDs in one row.

Combine same size Merges cells for punch features with same Punch ID. The columns of location values remain.
