Document Properties - Plane Display

You can specify color, transparency, and intersection options for plane display. Available for parts and assemblies.

Faces

You must enable the Display shaded planes option to display shaded planes.

To set the plane display options:

  • With a part or assembly document open, click Tools > Options > Document Properties > Plane Display.
Front Face Color Displays the Color dialog box that you use to set the front face color of planes.

Back face color
Back Face Color Displays the Color dialog box that you use to set the back face color of planes.
Transparency Controls the plane transparency (0% displays a solid face color; 100% displays no face color).
Edges take the same color as the front and back faces, are not transparent, and are always displayed.
0% transparency
75% transparency
100% transparency

Intersections

Show intersections Select or clear the Show intersections check box to display or hide the intersection of planes.

Line Color Displays the Color dialog box that you use to set the plane intersection line color.
