You can hide or show selected coordinate systems or all coordinate systems at once.
To toggle the display of all coordinate systems:

Click one of the following:

Hide/Show Items
 (Heads-up View toolbar), and then View Coordinate Systems 
- View Coordinate Systems
 (View toolbar)

To hide or show individual coordinate systems:

Right-click the coordinate system and click Hide or Show. Individual coordinate systems always are highlighted when you select them, even when hidden.
