Creating an Equation for a Column

In Assembly Visualization, you can create equations involving custom properties that have been defined in the component files.

1. On the Assembly Visualization tab , click the arrow to the right of a column header.
2. Click More.
3. In the dialog box:
   1. Select Use Formula to activate the equation field .
   2. In Column header, type a name for the calculated value.
4. In the equation field , define the equation by doing any of the following:
   • Select numerical items from Properties.
   • Type numbers.
   • Type operators such as , , and .

5. Click OK.
   The Column header you defined appears at the top of the column, and the calculated value for each component appears in the list.
