Opening Document Copies

After opening or modifying a document, you can save it as a copy and open the new copy automatically. References to the original document are not assigned to the copy.

To copy a document and open the copy:

  1. With the document open, click File > Save As.
  2. In the dialog box, select Save as copy and open.
  3. For File name, type a new name.
  4. Set other options and click Save.
