Transforming Models

You can transform (move, rotate, and scale) 3D models in a project by using numerical transforms or by using the transform manipulator.

All transforms are relative to pivot point of the model. The pivot point of the model is determined by the external modeling software used to create the model. In the transform manipulator, if you select Absolute, transforms are relative to a copy of the world axis at the pivot point of the model. If you clear Absolute, transforms are relative to the model's local axis and pivot point.
