You can flip components
from MCAD to ECAD.
The SOLIDWORKS software automates the process of reversing an ECAD component on the PCB
assembly and changes its location from one surface of the board to the other. Any
surface (layer) changes for ECAD components are communicated/collaborated through PCB
Connector.
In SOLIDWORKS, right-click a
component and click Flip Component.
