The Filled Hot Runner boundary condition identifies surfaces of your runner system that are heated. These sections of the runner are initially filled with hot polymer at the start of the Filling simulation.
To open the Filled Hot Runner PropertyManager:
- In the PlasticsManager, expand , and double-click Filled Hot Runner.
Parameters
Use the navigational controls (rotate, pan, zoom, etc.) to build a set of Filled Hot Runner elements. First, click and drag a two-dimensional box to select some elements. All elements within the box, both visible and hidden, will become highlighted in purple. Enter a temperature to be applied to all purple-highlighted elements.

Box Selection

Activates a three-dimensional selection box. Drag the arrows on the box to resize it. |

Type a temperature value to apply to all purple-highlighted elements. |

Delete

Removes the highlighted elements from the set of Filled Hot Runner Elements.

Clears all highlighted selections without changing the set of Filled Hot Runner Elements. |

Reset
|
Clears the set of Filled Hot Runner Elements.
