With SOLIDWORKS Explorer, you can list configurations for SOLIDWORKS
files.
To use SOLIDWORKS Explorer to work with
configurations:

From the top of the File
Explorer
tab in
the left pane, select a document from a folder.

Select the Configurations
tab in
the right pane.
Information about the model's configurations appears in
the following columns at the bottom of the right pane:
- Name. Lists the
name of the configuration.
- Alt Name. Lists
alternate names for the configurations.

Description. Lists the
description specified in the Configuration
Properties PropertyManager in SOLIDWORKS.

Comment. Lists the comments
specified in the Configuration
Properties PropertyManager in SOLIDWORKS.
A preview appears above the listing.
You can save the contents of the list to a text file by
clicking
Save to File
(SOLIDWORKS Explorer toolbar).

To display another configuration, in the area above the
Configuration
tab,
click Configuration
and select a configuration name.

To rename or delete a configuration, right-click the
configuration Name and select Rename or Delete.
