If you define a zone in a SOLIDWORKS drawing, the balloon zone is
automatically calculated for each characteristic. A new field displays the zone in the
characteristic's properties.
You can add the zone to a custom Microsoft Excel inspection report using the Template
Editor.
Inspection drawings can have
hundreds of balloons and it can be difficult to find balloons referenced in the report.
Adding the zone to inspection reports helps you find the balloons.
