Process Parameters You set parameters for the filling, packing, cooling, and warping phases of the injection molding process. Pack Settings PropertyManager The goal of the packing stage is to add more polymer material to the filled cavity to compensate for part shrinkage, and reduce external sink marks. Warp Settings PropertyManager Warp analysis predicts the final shape and dimensions of a part after the injection molding machine ejects it and the part is fully cooled. Cool Settings PropertyManager The Cool analysis module uses the cool settings parameters. The Cool analysis module performs heat transfer analysis that predicts the distribution of temperature within the mold, taking into account the mold cooling system. Temperature results from Cool analysis are used in subsequent Flow and Pack analysis modules.
