Reading Tessellation Data from Third-Party CAD Files

SOLIDWORKS 3D Interconnect reads tessellated data from third-party CAD files.

1. Click Open (Standard toolbar) or File > Open.
2. In the dialog box:
   1. Select a third-party file type in the Files of type list. An as Graphical Body check box appears.
   2. Select as Graphical Body to import files as graphical 3D meshes instead of solid or surface bodies.
   The as Graphical Body option also appears in the Insert Component dialog box.
