Use the SLDXML import options to specify how sketch data and assembly
mate data is read into the SOLIDWORKS document you create using the .SLDXML data exchange
format.
You must turn on the SOLIDWORKS
3DEXPERIENCE Smartlink add-in to
access the SLDXML import options.
- Click .
- In the dialog box, under Other
Add-ins, select Active
Add-ins and Start Up
for SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE
Smartlink.
- Click OK.
To access the SLDXML import
options:
- Click Open
(Standard toolbar) or .
- Set Files of type to
SLDXML.
- Click Options.
Read sketch data
|
Reads sketch entity and constraint data from the .SLDXML file into the SOLIDWORKS model as follows:- Flexible sketch objects are converted to SOLIDWORKS sketch entities.
- Rigid sketch objects are converted to SOLIDWORKS sketch blocks.
Sketches are created on geometrically equivalent sketch planes and appear at the correct hierarchy level in the FeatureManager design tree.
|
Read sketch objects in a mechanism sketch as blocks
|
Applies only when the content of the .SLDXML file was created in Mechanism
Mode in SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE applications. Converts both flexible and rigid sketch objects
to sketch blocks in SOLIDWORKS.
This option affects .SLDXML files with mechanism sketches only.
|
Read assembly mates data
|
Data for the following mates is included in the SOLIDWORKS file:- Lock
- Coincident
- Concentric
- Parallel
- Distance
- Perpendicular
- Angle
- Tangent
- Gear
Gear mates and rack and pinion mates are mapped to
traction mates in SOLIDWORKS. This occurs if the gear
rotation in SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE applications
is linked to rotation and the gears are tangent to each
other.
