The Warp Boundary PropertyManager provides options
to prevent rigid body motion for warp calculations.
To
open the
Warp Boundary PropertyManager:
- In the PlasticsManager, right-click Solid Mesh
, and
click Warp Boundary
.
Two numerical treatments are available to prevent rigid body motion:
- Inertial relief, which applies inertia forces distributed to all
nodes of the model to form an equivalent state of static equilibrium without
applying additional restraints.
- Restraining a body in a plane.
Select Nodes
Inertia Relief (Center of
Mass)
|
Applies inertia forces distributed to all nodes of the
model to form an equivalent state of static equilibrium without
explicitly applying additional restraints. The software restrains
the body's center of mass. |
Select Three locations
(Nodes)
|
Specifies three mesh nodes (vertices) that define a
plane in which you restrain the body from moving. |
Reset
|
Resets the selection of nodes to
the default setting. |
