You
can define parameters for a SOLIDWORKS model that you can
use
to run a Parametric Design Study on the
3DEXPERIENCE platform. You can specify model dimensions and global variables for the
parameters.
If your model contains sensors, they are also included with the parameters when you
import the data to the platform.
To define
parameters in the SOLIDWORKS model:

In the
FeatureManager Design Tree, right-click Equations and click Add/Edit
Parameters.

In
the Parameters dialog
box, enter a name for the parameter.
- Optional:
To define a parameter for a model dimension, select a driving
dimension in the graphics area.
- Optional:
To define a parameter for a global variable, select a global
variable from the list.
