Account Access

You can give Windows accounts administrative and attach permissions.

Users with administrative access have sufficient rights to remove, attach, and upgrade file vaults and to create new ones. Administrators can add or remove file vaults with the Enterprise PDM administration tool on a client workstation.
Admin users can destroy file vaults and archives. Give only administrators this level of access.

Users with attach permissions can attach to an archive server to see the vaults hosted on that archive server and create local file vault views. These users can also log into the vault using the Administration tool if a local view has not been created.
