Notification Editor - File Assignment Tab
The File Assignment tab of the
Notification Editor displays notification
settings for files that are redefined explicitly rather than inherited
from a folder or subfolder.

To open the File Assignment tab of the Notification
Editor:
Right-click a file (or files) and select
Notify,
Me When.
The left pane displays a new notification
line for each file you selected. You can add, modify, and remove notification
settings made on the file level.
You cannot modify or remove
notification settings that are inherited from folders and subfolders.
These settings can be redefined on the folder or subfolder level.
To create a notification:
Click Add Assignment.
Browse to a file and click Open.
Specify the notification conditions in the lower-right
pane.
To remove a notification:
Select a line in the notification assignments
pane and click Remove Assignment
