Editing Scenes

You can add, remove, or modify scenes associated and saved with model files.

To remove scenes:

  1. In the FeatureManager design tree, expand Lights, Cameras and Scene .

  2. Click Scene and press Delete.

You can replace scenes without deleting existing scenes. Parameters are not retained in replacement scenes.

To modify scenes:

  1. In the FeatureManager design tree, expand Lights, Cameras and Scene .

  2. Double-click Scene to display the Edit Scene PropertyManager.

  3. Under Floor Location:

    1. Select a planar face to flip the floor about the selected model geometry for Position by selection.

When you select Position by selection, you need to reposition the model relative to the floor  

    1. Click Flip floor direction to make the ceiling the floor.

    2. Set a value for Offset.

 

 

    1. Set a value for Rotation.

 

 

Not all scenes use a floor.    

Basic Scenes

Basic scenes use a virtual floor by having an object's shadow create the illusion of a floor.

Studio Scenes

Studio scenes combine elements of from basic and presentation scenes. All studio scenes include a floor.

Presentation Scenes

Presentation scenes include scenes with a floor (Wood Floor Room and Garage Room), and scenes such as the Courtyard Background where an object's positioning and shadows create the illusion of a floor.

  1. Under Scale, clear Auto resize, and set values for Width, Depth, and Height to adjust the floor and wall area.

  2. Under Environment Rotation, set a value to rotate the background and reflection on the model.

  3. Click .
