Setting Folder Properties

To view folder properties, right-click the folder and select Properties.

General Tab

The General tab lists summary and scheduling information. Users with access rights can change the scheduling information, Starting Date, Deadline, Time Estimate, as the project proceeds.

You are notified when the Deadline date is reached if you have activated this function on the Folders page of the notification editor. See User-defined Notifications.

Folder Data Card

The Folder Data Card tab shows values of data card variables, such as the Project Name, Description, and Author, in the View Values tab. If you have access rights, you can modify the values.

To modify the Folder Data Card:

  1. Select the Edit Values tab.

  2.  Enter changes and click Apply.

  3. To apply the changes to files already created in this folder, select Update values in files.

Deleted Items Tab

Files deleted from this folder in the vault are listed on the Deleted Items tab.

To manage the deleted file list:

  • Right-click the file name and select:

    • Recover to restore files.

    • Destroy to remove files permanently.

  • Select Include items in sub-folders to remove all files from all sub-folders.
