Insert Hyperlink

Creates a hyperlink to a document on the Internet, your local network, or on your own hard drive. When you select a hyperlink, the associated document or Web site opens.

To create an embedded hyperlink:

  1. Click Insert Hyperlink art\HYPERLNK.gif (Web toolbar) or Insert, Hyperlink.

  2. Type the path for Link to file or URL, or browse to a document.

  3. Select Use relative path for hyperlink to specify a directory path relative to the current location instead of the full path.

  4. Click OK.

    The hyperlink appears as a note in the graphics area.

To delete an embedded hyperlink:

Select the hyperlink, then press Delete.
