Creating Drawing Views of Multibody Parts in Existing Drawings

When editing drawing views, you can select bodies in multibody parts for all drawing views except section, aligned section, and detail views.

  1. Select an existing drawing view of a multibody part.
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Reference Configuration, click Select Bodies.

    The part file opens.

  3. Select the bodies you want to include in the drawing view.

    For flat patterns of multibody sheet metal parts, you can use one body per view.

    The bodies appear in Bodies for creating view .

  4. Click .

    The drawing file opens and the drawing view is updated.
