Comparing Results

After running your studies, you can compare up to four results at the same time. You can:

  • Compare the current plot to similar plots from other studies

  • View up to four plots from the current study

  • Compare arbitrary plots from different studies

To compare the current plot to similar plots from other studies:

  1. Double-click the icon of the initial plot to display it.

  2. Click Compare Results (Simulation CommandManager).

  3. Under Options, select Compare selected result across studies.

  4. Select up to four studies. If there are four or fewer studies with similar plots, they are all selected by default.

  1. Click .

The plots appear in different panes. Clicking in a pane displays the associated Simulation study tree.

The software creates temporary plots for the other studies and removes them when you exit the comparison.

  1. Click Exit Compare.

To view multiple plots from the current study:

  1. Click Compare Results (Simulation CommandManager).

  2. Under Options, select View multiple results of current study.

  3. Select up to four plots. The first four plots in the tree are selected by default.

  4. Select Use settings from this plot for plots of the same type and select a plot in Study name to temporarily synchronize the settings from the selected plot to the other plots.

  5. Click .

The plots appear in different panes.

  1. Click Exit Compare.

To view arbitrary plots from different studies:

  1. Click Compare Results (Simulation CommandManager).

  2. Under Options, select Manually select results to view.

  3. Select up to four plots from any of the studies in the tree.

  4. Select Use settings from this plot for plots of the same type and select a plot in Study name to temporarily synchronize the settings from the selected plot to the other plots.

  5. Click .

The plots appear in different panes.

  1. Click Exit Compare.
