Global Variables
You can create global variables to use in equations. You define global
variables in the Add
Equation dialog box (example: Well_Volume
= 20000). You can:
Global variables and their current values appear:
To create a global variable:
Click Equations
on the Tools toolbar, or click Tools,
Equations.
The Equations dialog box appears.
If any global variables already exist, the Equations
folder
in the FeatureManager design tree expands to show
them.
In the dialog box, click Add.
Populate the equation box. See Entering Equations.
Click OK.
The equation and value for the global variable appear in the Equations dialog box.
Click OK
again.
The global variable appears in the Equations
folder
in the FeatureManager design tree, where you can
select it for use in other equations.
