Rotate Drawing View
You can rotate drawing views
on a sheet, or you can rotate a drawing view out of its plane using 3D drawing
view mode.
To rotate a drawing view:
Click Rotate
View
(View toolbar).
Select a view. (You can select a view before or
after activating the tool.)
Rotate the view in one of these ways:
Drag the view in the graphics area. The view snaps
to 45 degree increments, but you can drop the view at any angle.
Use the left and right arrow keys. The increment
value specified for the arrow keys (under Tools, Options,
System Options, View)
is used.
In the dialog box, specify the Drawing
view angle for a selected view.
Select from these options:
Dependent
views update to change in orientation to update views that were
created from the view you are rotating (projected views, for example).
Rotate
center marks with view. You can also rotate center marks in the
Center
Mark PropertyManager.
Click Apply
to update the views. You can rotate additional views, then click Close when you are finished.
To restore the view to its original rotation,
right-click the view and select Alignment, Default Rotation.
