Weld Table PropertyManager

Specify properties for weld tables in drawings.

To open this PropertyManager, in a drawing view, click Weld Table (Table toolbar) or Insert > Tables > Weld Table.

Table Template

Click Open table template for Weld Table to choose a standard or custom template. This option is available only during table insertion. The weld table templates supplied with the software add columns to the default format. They are located at install_dir\lang\english. The standard template (weldtable-standard.sldwldtbt) creates ITEM NO., WELD SIZE, SYMBOL, WELD LENGTH, WELD MATERIAL, and QTY. columns. You can add or change columns to include weld bead custom properties:
  • Weld material
  • Weld process
  • Weld mass
  • Weld cost
  • Weld time
  • Weld mass per unit length
  • Welding cost per unit mass
  • Welding time per unit length

Table Position

The stationary corner controls the direction in which the table expands when adding new columns or rows.

Set Stationary corner to:
Top Left New columns extend to the right and new rows extend below the anchor point.
Top Right New columns extend to the left and new rows extend below the anchor point.
Bottom Left New columns extend to the right and new rows extend above the anchor point.
Bottom Right New columns extend to the left and new rows extend above the anchor point.
Attach to anchor point
Attaches the specified corner to the table anchor.

Weld tables are configuration-specific. There are two default configurations: Default <As Machined> and Default <As Welded>. Select the configuration.

Include drawing annotations Incorporates all weld annotations from the drawing in the weld table including weld symbols that are created manually and not with the Weld Bead tool.
You can modify which weld symbols are shown in the weld table by editing the properties of the weld symbol and selecting Include this symbol in weld table in the Weld Symbol dialog box.
Combine same weld type Combines all similar welds (same bead size, type (intermittent or full), and weld length) and calculates the cumulative weld length and mass.

Item Numbers

Start at Sets the starting item number.
  Increment Sets the increment.

Box Border Select a line thickness for the outside border of the table.
Grid Border Select a line thickness for the inner grid lines of the table.
