Referenced Files

There are several ways to list and edit files referenced by part, assembly and drawing documents:

  • In the Find References dialog box you can:

    • List files referenced by the active document.

    • Print the list or copy it to the clipboard.

    • Save copies of the listed items to a folder or zip file.

  • When saving a document, in the Save As with References dialog box you can:

    • List files referenced by the active document.

    • Edit the locations and names of referenced files and save them to the new locations or names.

  • When opening a document, in the Edit Referenced File Locations dialog box you can:

    • List files referenced by the document you are opening.

    • Edit the locations and names of referenced files, to reference different files.
