Tables Overview

You can use tables to annotate drawings and assemblies.

You can create several types of tables, including:

Reordering Columns

You can reorder rows and columns by dragging them within the table.

Changing Row Height or Column Width

To change row height:

Do one of the following:

    • Drag a row divider when the pointer changes to .

    • Right-click a row (or hold down Ctrl and select multiple rows) and select Formatting, Row Height. Type a value and click OK.

To change column width:

Do one of the following:

  • Drag a column divider when the pointer changes to .

  • Right-click a column (or hold down Ctrl and select multiple columns) and select Formatting, Column Width. Type a value and click OK.

To change table area:

  1. Right-click anywhere in the table and select Formatting, Entire table.

  2. Type values for the width of all columns and height of all rows, and click OK.

Locking Row Height or Column Width

You can lock the row height or column width by right-clicking a row or column and clicking Formatting, Lock Column Width or Lock Row Height. Locked rows and columns display a lock icon when you select the table.

Showing or Hiding Rows or Columns

Toggle the visibility of a row or column by clicking Hide/Show in the Table Format toolbar.

Toggling Grouping of Rows

Toggle row grouping by clicking Group/Ungroup in the Table Format toolbar.

Showing Referenced Assembly Structures in a BOM

Expand the flyout on the left of the BOM to display an image of a referenced assembly structure in the BOM.

Setting the Document-level Font for All Tables

  1. Click  Options , and select  Document Properties.

  2. Select Tables and click Font.

  3. Select the font and click OK twice.
