Bridging
Bridging is a commonly used technique in a multibody environment.
Bridging creates a solid that connects multiple solid bodies. This technique
is useful when you create portions of the model first and create the connecting
geometry afterwards.
For example, when designing a golf club, you
might know the specifics of the head and shaft design, but not necessarily
how they are connected. You can design the head and the shaft first, then
bridge the two bodies.
