Saving eDrawings Markup Files

SolidWorks eDrawings markup files saved from the Save Markup dialog box are automatically added to the vault.

To save markup files to the vault automatically, in eDrawings, click File > Save Markup.

To see the added file type in the Administration tool:


  1. Click Tools > EPDM Administration to open the Administration tool.
  2. Expand Users, right-click your user name, and click Settings.

    On the Adding Files tab of the Settings dialog box, markup has been added to the list of files that are always saved to the vault.
