3DVIA Composer File Format Support

SolidWorks Enterprise PDM now recognizes the 3DVIA Composer file formats .smg and .smgxml.

Users can preview embedded 3DVIA Composer files if the 3DVIA Composer Player is installed. As with other previews, you can use the 3DVIA Composer Player tools to manipulate the model.

The 3DVIA Composer data card, which is installed when you create a vault using the Default setup, lets users view file information.

The 3DVIA Composer Player is available as a free download from http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/downloads.htm, on the 3DVIA Composer tab.
