Obtaining a License File

You can use the SolidWorks Customer Portal to obtain your license file for Enterprise PDM.

To obtain a license file:

Double-click the License node.
In the Set License dialog box, under License file, click Request license file to use the customer portal to obtain a license file.
In the SolidWorks Customer Portal Welcome screen, type your Email Address and Password and click Sign-in.
On the Self-Service screen, under My Support, click Register My Products.
Enter your serial number and other requested information.
A license file is mailed to you.
When you receive the email, copy the license file (text file) to your hard drive.
In the Set License dialog box, under License file, click and browse to the license file.
Click OK.

The licenses contained in the license file are installed. To verify the licenses, double-click the License node. The licenses are listed in the Set License dialog box.
