Covering PropertyManager

You can add coverings to route assemblies.

To add a covering:

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Click Covering (Routing Tools toolbar) or Routing, Routing Tools, Covering.

    • Right-click a route segment and select Covering.

  1. In the Covering PropertyManager, select options under Covering.

  2. Choose one:

    • Use Covering Library to select the covering from the library.

    • Create custom covering to choose a material.

  3. Click Create.

Covering

Segments. Lists the segment to be covered, which you select in the graphics area.

Covering library. Selects the library.

Covering type. Selects the type.

Covering. Selects the covering.

Name. Lists the default name for the material you specified. You can edit the name for the instance of the covering that you are creating.

Apply. Applies covering selection to the selected segment.

Add custom coverings to the library. Adds the custom covering to the Covering Library.

Choose one:

  • Thickness. Sets a value for the thickness of the covering.

  • Outer diameter. Sets a value for the outer diameter of the covering.

Select Material. Click to choose the covering material in the Material dialog box. Click Apply, and then click Close.

Covering Layers

Covering instances. Lists all the covering instances in the route assembly.

Delete. Click to delete the selected covering instance.

Layer properties. Lists the properties of the selected covering instance.
