Thumbnail Graphics

When you save a library feature (.sldlfp) or a forming tool (.sldprt), the thumbnail graphic is saved in an isometric view, zoomed to fit, with a white background.

Previews

To see the preview:

  1. Click the Design Library tab on the Task Pane.

  2. Browse to where the library feature, forming tool, or part is located.

  3. In the lower panel of the Task Pane, move your pointer over the item.

The preview also includes the name of the library feature and, optionally, a description.

Colors

When you add color to a library features:

  • The color propagates to all configurations.

  • Each time you add the library feature to a target part, the applied color is displayed.

In the target part, library features that consist of more than one feature use the color specified for a Library Feature under Tools, Options, on the Document Properties tab, and select Model Display.
