Specifying Find Parameters for Boss or Cut Sweeps

The Find: Boss Sweep Parameters and Find: Cut Sweep Parameters dialog boxes let you specify Find parameters for sweep features. The following parameters are available:

Options

Set the following options to find sweeps with the specified settings:

  • Orientation/twist type

  • Align with end faces

  • Tangent propagation

  • Merge result

  • Merge tangent faces

  • Guide curves

Start/End tangency

Select a Start tangency type and an End tangency type.

 

Thin Feature

  • Thin Feature. Select to find thin feature sweeps.

  • Type. Select a type of thin feature sweep.

  • Direction. Select the sweep direction. This is available only if One-Direction is selected in Type.

  • Wall thickness. Set a value for the wall thickness of the sweep.

Toggle to change the comparison symbols >, <, and =.
