Inserting Magnetic Lines

To insert magnetic lines:

  1. Open install_dir\samples\whatsnew\drawings\cover1.slddrw.
  2. Click Magnetic Line Tool_magnetic_line_annotations.gif (Annotation toolbar) or Insert > Annotations > Magnetic Line.
  3. Click to place the starting point of the magnetic line at the lower left of the drawing view.
  4. Drag the other end point of the magnetic line straight up so that it is similar to the drawing below, and click to place the end point.

    The line snaps to horizontal, vertical, and 45° angle positions, but can be located at any angle.

  5. In the Magnetic Line PropertyManager, click PM_OK.gif.
